     What is FLATNZ?

FLATNZ is an offshoot of the original concept from Athol Kay. The overall league structure is borrowed from NCAA (College) Basketball in the USA (horizontal divisions rather than vertical - have to prove you're Div1 material every season). The points system is borrowed from rugby (rewarded for close games and/or big scores). We also have something called the Mag Uidhrin Shield, that I have been assured is the devil's own invention (once you've got it, you may even sacrifice the title to keep it)! Seasons 1-12 on old site.
