What is ODFL? 

ODFL stands for Olmec Developmental Football League.

The purpose of this league is to allow people who are interested in joining SESL, SFLSL, MSWL and FLATNZ to get a chance to learn how to run a team in a league with other new managers. It will allow managers the chance to see if "this is the right choice for them". It will allow commissioners to quickly find good managers who have learned the basics and are ready to join a league full time.

 Quick recap 

For the Allan Sellers Cup there is no qualification. All eight teams will play home and away against the team that finishes in the same place in the other group to give a 1st to 8th final position.

Prize money is as follows:

The winner will receive 150k. Second to Fifth will receive 120k to 60k. Sixth and seventh will receive 30k. This will be paid before the first auction.

 Announcements 

Mid-season ageing - August 13th (after match 17)

Auctions - July 22nd, July 26th, August 2nd and August 16th.
The first one will be on a Tuesday to make sure I get chance to put in the Allan Sellers Cup cash bonus, the rest are a couple of hours after the Saturday games.

Trade window will close on August 25th.

 Performance bonuses 

First to third in the league will get a 0.15 to 0.05 morale bonus next season.

There is no bonus for the ODFL Cup as teams that get to the semi-final and final will get extra gate money.

I will try to give participation bonuses on Sundays. There will be 12 of these of up to 25k each.

You don't have to post as much as Dave to get the 25k.

 Auctions 

There will be four auctions in season 1.

Each will have:

Two age 0, SL 3 to 7
One age 2 or 3, SL 13 to 19
One age 4 or 5, SL 17 to 23
Either 2 to 4 CP or 2 to 4 TP.
