  • For Season 1 only, the top 4 of each division will play in a play-off to decide the overall champion.
  • The top 6 teams of the two divisions will play Season 2 in Division 1.
  • The bottom 6 teams of the two divisions will play Season 2 in Division 2.
  • Both Cups have the same structure.
  • There will be no Division 2 morale bonus for Season 1.
  • The teams in the play-off receive the following morale bonus.
    • The champion will get the 0.25 morale bonus
    • Runner up will get 0.15
    • Semi-finalists will both get 0.10

Each team will play

Minimum games are 32, with maximum games 44.

League

  • The League is made up by two Divisions of randomly assigned teams.
  • The top 6 teams of the two divisions will play Season 2 in Division 1.
  • The bottom 6 teams of the two divisions will play Season 2 in Division 2.

Season 1 Playoff

For Season 1 only, the top 4 of each division will play in a play-off knockout to decide the overall champion.

SFLSL Cup rules.

The first group game will be played on the Friday after League matches 1 and 2, and every two weeks thereafter.
The knockout stages will start on the Friday after the last League game of the season and then run on Wednesday and Friday.

McBride Cup In Season 1

  • Consists of 4 groups (A – D) of 6 teams randomly drawn.
  • Each team plays one game against the other teams in their group.
    • Each team will play 5 games on a neutral ground.
  • The top 4 from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
  • The first group game will be played on the Monday after League matches 3 and 4 every two weeks

The top FOUR teams in each group qualify for the last-32 knockout stage played after the League season is completed.
