This schedule is as outlined by the commish and will keep everyone involved in matches until the final week, when the finalists of THE CUP take centre stage.
League
The League is made up by two Divisions.
1st Division
- All 1st Division game revenues will give each team an extra 25k per game.
- Apprentices are 0/0 and cost 50k basic or 150k multipositional.
- At the end of each regular season
- 1st to 8th qualify for the McBride Cup in season 4.
- 10th to 12th relegated to Div 2.
2nd Division
- Apprentices are 0/2 and cost 50k basic or 150k multipositional.
- A 0/2 Apprentice results in a 10-game no-trade ban.
- At the end of each regular season
- 1st to 8th qualify for the McBride Cup in season 4.
- 1st & 2nd promoted to Div 1.
- 3rd through 6th are into the Playoffs
Relegation/Promotion
At the end of each regular season
- 10th to 12th in Div 1 are relegated to Div 2.
- 1st & 2nd in Div 2 are promoted to Div 1.
- Winner of the Playoffs
Playoffs
At the end of each regular season
- 3rd Place in Div 2 will play 6th Place in Div 2
- 4th Place in Div 2 will play 5th Place in Div 2
- Matches are played at home of higher seeded team
- The Winners of first playoff games will play each other for Promotion

SFLSL Cup
- Teams will be drawn into 4 groups of 6 teams.
- Each team will play 5 games on a neutral ground.
- The top 4 from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
Group Stages
- Consists of 4 groups (A – D) of 6 teams randomly drawn.
- Each team plays one game against the other teams in their group.
- Games in these groups are now played at Neutral venue.
- The top FOUR teams in each group qualify for the knockout stages

SFLSL Cup Knockout Stages
- Seeded format to favour teams that finished well in the Group Stage.
- The Draw also keeps teams from the same group mostly apart, with only 1 other on your side of the draw.
- Seeding ends at the Semi Finals with a Random Draw for the Semi Final fixtures
- All matches are played on Neutral Grounds.
- All matches are one off knock out games.

Draft
Coaches need to list their preference list of players from the 60 up to their position in the Team Order.
The teams will receive the highest of their preferences that is left in the draft.
The draft preference list is the order of priority that you would like to acquire players.
So the player you want most is picked first, then on down to your position in the draft.
- Example
- The team picking 6th, would need to list 6 players and would receive the highest of this list that is left in the draft.
- So the 6th listed player would be assigned if all the other 5 were already picked by the first 5 teams.
