This is a space to sketch out how a Hall of Fame might work in TMVL.

Hall of Fame

Summary

The Hall of Fame records for posterity those players who have excelled during their TMVL College Career.

Location

Accessed off the Home Page from a new Tab.

Criteria (exact numbers to be agreed)

Players can be inducted into the Hall of Fame for either of two reasons.

  1. They have achieved a high enough rating for their position in one season (S = , OH = , RS = , MB = , L = )
  2. They have performed a high enough number of successful serves or the key action in their respective position over the course of their career

Players can appear in both categories.

Question: how many players should be inducted per year? It should only be a few so it’s a real accolade but not so many that it’s unachievable. Maybe you’d expect the All-TMVL team to make it, so seven - but could be slightly more or less depending on actual final season’s ratings. Thoughts?
