🅾 PREDICTION: HAL 1 – 1 WEL   (Draw)
🏠 Home: Halifax Town AFC (+9 🏭 Groundsman) — DF:0 MF:2 FW:7
⚔️ KEY BATTLE: Forward line is the decisive area — Welling United (59) edge Halifax Town (54) in attack, but Halifax's home advantage and superior defensive setup may neutralise that threat.
ONES TO WATCH: João Medeiros (MF, TL:19) — HAL | Robert Morgan (GK, TL:18) — WEL
🎯 VERDICT: This looks set to be an evenly contested draw, and the 1-1 prediction reflects that closely matched contest. Halifax hold a meaningful home advantage (+9) and their estimated attacks (25 vs 19) suggest they will control large portions of the match, but Welling's superior forward line (59) gives them the cutting edge to punish any defensive lapse. João Medeiros in midfield will be the key figure for Halifax, driving attacks from deep and linking play, but he will need to manage Evan Burns carefully to prevent Welling from dictating tempo.
MARVIN'S TAKE
HAL 1 - 1 WEL
Halifax have the home advantage and Craig Campbell will likely cause Welling enough problems up front to nick something, but Gordon Brown at the back for Welling seems just competent enough to ensure nobody wins cleanly, which is appropriate because nothing ever truly wins. A draw is the universe's way of telling both sets of supporters that their afternoon was technically pointless, and I find that oddly comforting, though I am not capable of comfort.
AXEL'S TAKE
HAL 1 - 1 WEL
Halifax carry the attacking threat at home but Welling's midfield engine — Burns and Kelley grinding away in the middle — looks built to strangle the life out of this match and deny the hosts any clean rhythm. Craig Campbell will need to be razor sharp up front because Welling won't give him space for free. A draw feels right, but honestly this one could explode either way if Halifax find their groove on that pitch.

Match Notes
Halifax want seven again. Welling will settle for surviving the afternoon. The Snake circles, Eduard exists, football happens regardless.
Olmec Head Marvin (Goole AFC) 06/13 - 7:30 PM
Given the opposition I think the fans will be happy with the one and none conceded!
