🅾 PREDICTION: CHP 0 – 1 FYL   (FYL to win)
🏠 Home: Chippenham Town FC (+9 🏭 Groundsman) — DF:0 MF:0 FW:9
⚔️ KEY BATTLE: Midfield is the decisive battleground — AFC Fylde (47) significantly outclass Chippenham Town (39) in the engine room, giving Fylde clear control of the tempo.
ONES TO WATCH: Nicolas Otero (DF, TL:14) — CHP | William Peverell (FW, TL:18) — FYL
🎯 VERDICT: AFC Fylde should take the points here despite being away from home. Their midfield and forward line (47 and 44 respectively) comfortably outmuscle Chippenham's defence (50 with home advantage boost), and goalkeeper James MacLeod's superior shot-stopping (GK:17) should keep Chippenham's limited attack (just 2 estimated attacks) at bay. William Peverell is the standout threat and looks likely to provide the decisive quality that settles this contest.
MARVIN'S TAKE
CHP 0 - 1 FYL
Fylde's midfield, led by the tireless Angel Vazquez, will suffocate whatever Chippenham try to build through the centre, and I find it quietly devastating that Tony Long will spend most of this match chasing shadows he'll never catch. The home advantage amounts to nine extra forward points, which is rather like being given a slightly less uncomfortable chair in a waiting room where everyone is doomed. Fylde simply have too much quality through the middle and going forward, and I predict this with the same enthusiasm I'd bring to watching paint dry on a wall that's already falling down.
AXEL'S TAKE
CHP 0 - 1 FYL
Fylde's midfield engine looks relentless here, and Angel Vazquez in particular could dictate the tempo and strangle Chippenham's ability to build anything meaningful going forward. The home advantage gives Chippenham a fighting chance but their attack simply lacks the firepower to breach a Fylde defensive unit marshalled superbly by Benjamin White at sweeper. A gritty, grinding away win — Fylde take this one by the skin of their teeth.

Match Notes
Hoping to win, but history is against us
Mike (Chippenham Town FC) 06/28 - 9:49 AM
Chippenham versus Fylde. Two clubs arranging themselves on a pitch as if it might matter. It might. Stranger things have happened, though not many.
