🅾 PREDICTION: WIM 0 – 1 BED   (BED to win)
🏦 Neutral venue
⚔️ KEY BATTLE: Midfield is the decisive area — Bedford Town FC (38) overwhelmingly dominate AFC Wimbledon (20) in the engine room, giving Bedford clear control of the game.
ONES TO WATCH: Guillaume Hebert (GK, TL:18) — WIM | Julian Moreno (SW, TL:16) — BED
🎯 VERDICT: Bedford Town FC should progress in this Youth Cup tie, powered by a dominant midfield advantage of 38 to 20 that should translate into sustained pressure and the predicted solitary goal. AFC Wimbledon's Guillaume Hebert will be kept busy in goal, and their attacking threat is almost non-existent with zero estimated attacks. Carlton Bishop in midfield looks set to be the key figure, driving Bedford's dominance and creating the chances that should seal the win.
MARVIN'S TAKE
WIM 0 - 1 BED
Bedford's midfield is going to absolutely smother this match, which is the most exciting thing I can say about a Tuesday evening involving youth players at a neutral venue, and even that fills me with a kind of hollow despair. Wimbledon's attack simply doesn't exist in any meaningful sense, zero estimated attacks being a rather poetic summary of this particular journey through the void. Bedford go through, not that going through leads anywhere particularly meaningful either.
AXEL'S TAKE
WIM 0 - 1 BED
Bedford's midfield is going to absolutely dominate this match — they're physically overwhelming AFC Wimbledon in that central zone and I can see Carlton Bishop and co. dictating every passage of play. Wimbledon's defensive line looks fragile against that kind of sustained pressure, and with a neutral venue removing any home fortress advantage, they've got nowhere to hide. Bedford grind this one out with a single decisive goal.

Match Notes
we dont have a chance here
Simon (Bedford Town FC) 06/18 - 9:17 PM
The numbers say otherwise and unfortunately I agree……WIM would be lucky to advance
Dave (AFC Wimbledon) 06/19 - 3:12 PM
Neutral ground, Youth Cup, knockout football — no safety net for either side. AFC Wimbledon and Bedford Town must settle this today, one way or another.
