🅾 PREDICTION: CAN 1 – 0 BIH   (CAN to win)
🏠 Home: Canada (+7) — DF:1 MF:1 FW:5
⚔️ KEY BATTLE: Forward line is the decisive area — Canada's attack (FW:40, boosted by home advantage +5 FW) towers over Bosnia-Herzegovina's defence (DF:46), giving Canada a clear edge in the final third.
ONES TO WATCH: Alphonso Davies (DF, TL:15) — CAN | Ermedin Demirović (FW, TL:12) — BIH
🎯 VERDICT: Canada should take this hard-fought home victory, grinding out a narrow 1-0 win backed by a dominant attacking advantage and the roar of a home crowd. Bosnia-Herzegovina's defence is solid but Canada's sheer volume of attacks (9 vs 2) makes them difficult to contain over 90 minutes. Alphonso Davies is the player to watch — his energy and directness from deep will stretch Bosnia's backline and create the decisive opening.

SĂłCRATES'S TAKE
1 - 0
I stopped by the Art Gallery of Ontario this morning and stood for a long time before Lawren Harris's *Above Lake Superior* — that vast, luminous stillness, powerful and inevitable, much like Canada feel on home soil tonight. Toronto will be electric, and Alphonso Davies, playing with the freedom of a man who owns these streets, will be the brushstroke that breaks this game open. Bosnia defend with discipline, but their attack is a candle in a storm against a Canadian side surging forward with relentless intent — Demirović will be isolated and hungry but starved of service. A narrow victory for the hosts, but the kind that carries weight — earned, not gifted.

JURGEN'S TAKE
1 - 0
Canada's forward line carries a significant threat advantage over Bosnia's defensive structure, and on home soil at BMO Field with this crowd behind them, that gap becomes a chasm — I expect Canada to control the territorial battle and find a decisive breakthrough, likely through the wide channels where their pace is most dangerous. Bosnia's defensive organization is solid — Kolašinac brings real Premier League experience at left back — but against the relentless pressure Canada will generate in attack, one moment of hesitation will be costly. I tried baking a classic Toronto butter tart before the match and managed not to burn the pastry shell, which I'll take as a sign of Canadian victory today. St. Clair in goal shouldn't be tested heavily, but he'll need to be sharp for whatever Demirović can conjure on those rare Bosnian counter-attacks — Bosnia's best hope is the sucker-punch.

Match Notes
Kudos to Phil for nabbing two of the three teams with home advantage. That’s the kind of tactical acumen that delivers trophies for inaugural events
