🅾 PREDICTION: PAN 0 – 4 CRO (CRO to win)
🏦 Neutral venue
⚔️ KEY BATTLE: Midfield is the decisive battleground — Croatia's engine room (67) completely overwhelms Panama's (18), giving Luka Modrić and company total control of the game.
⭐ ONES TO WATCH: Luis MejĂa (GK, TL:9) — PAN | Luka Modrić (MF, TL:15) — CRO
🎯 VERDICT: Croatia should win this comfortably, 4-0. Their midfield dominance (67 vs 18) generates a massive attacking advantage of 27 estimated attacks to Panama's 6, and Panama's goalkeeper Luis MejĂa (TL:9) is simply outclassed against Croatia's quality. Luka Modrić will be the decisive figure, orchestrating play and unlocking Panama's defence repeatedly throughout the match.

SĂłCRATES'S TAKE
I strolled through the Menil Collection yesterday and stood before a de Kooning — all that controlled chaos, form emerging from apparent disorder — and I thought, yes, this is what Modrić does to a midfield. Croatia's control through the centre will be suffocating for Panama, whose midfield simply lacks the tactical vocabulary to contain Luka's tempo, and Kramarić will punish every hesitation with ruthless efficiency. Panama's goalkeeper MejĂa will face a relentless examination, and even his best efforts cannot hold back a tide this inevitable.

JURGEN'S TAKE
Croatia's midfield superiority here is simply overwhelming — Modrić and company will pull Panama's compact defensive shape in every direction until it snaps, and with 27 estimated attacks against just six for Panama, this feels less like a football match and more like a siege. Livaković barely needs to work, while MejĂa will face a relentless evening between the posts that his modest squad depth simply cannot collectively absorb. Houston's kolache scene inspired me to attempt a proper Czech-Texan kolache last week, and much like Panama's defensive block tonight, my pastry held together admirably for about twenty minutes before completely falling apart. Croatia's quality is a tier above — this is a comfortable, professional dismantling.
Match Notes
I just want to once again call out (WC Only as I can't be bothered to get it to work in other leagues)...

...that ALL the special characters in the Croatian names are present and working (I think) at least in this competition...

...John can never say Al isn't reading his comments (The Shaman BRB, special characters in names, what's next? An AP Cup format shakeup?)...
