🅾 PREDICTION: NZL 0 – 4 BEL   (BEL to win)
🏦 Neutral venue
⚔️ KEY BATTLE: Midfield is the decisive battleground — Belgium (55) vastly outgun New Zealand (34) in the engine room, giving the Red Devils complete control of the game.
ONES TO WATCH: Chris Wood (FW, TL:10) — NZL | Kevin De Bruyne (MF, TL:16) — BEL
🎯 VERDICT: Belgium should win this comfortably, and the numbers leave little room for doubt. Their forward line (44) towers over New Zealand's defence (25), and with zero estimated attacks for the All Whites, this looks like a one-sided affair from start to finish. Kevin De Bruyne is the man to watch — his midfield dominance and ability to pick apart defensive lines will be the engine driving Belgium to a convincing 4-0 victory.

SĂłCRATES'S TAKE
0 - 4
I stopped by the Museum of Fine Arts here in Houston this morning and stood before Frederic Remington's *A Dash for the Timber* — all that raw, unstoppable forward momentum, and I thought, yes, this is Belgium today. De Bruyne conducts this midfield like a maestro who has already heard the symphony before the orchestra lifts its bow, and New Zealand's defensive structure simply has no answer for the relentless waves that Doku and De Ketelaere will bring from wide positions. Chris Wood will chase shadows all afternoon, and I say this with great affection for the All Whites — sometimes the most honest thing you can do is admire the art being painted against you.

JURGEN'S TAKE

Belgium's midfield is simply operating at a different altitude here — De Bruyne and Raskin will suffocate New Zealand's ability to transition, and with zero attacking pressure generated by the All Whites, Chris Wood may barely see the ball in dangerous areas. Doku's width against Cacace on the left flank is the specific mismatch that will tear this open, and once Belgium find that channel, the goals will flow. I tried Houston's kolache this week in the NRG Stadium district — an unexpected Central European pastry transplanted to Texas, and honestly my version wasn't far off my opa's recipe.

Match Notes
One more chance to prove Olmec does not hate Steve...
Allan (Mexico) 06/23 - 10:53 PM
If we win and Iran don't lose then we come 3rd on head to head tie-breaker.
Steve (New Zealand) 06/26 - 11:54 AM
However if we win and Iran win then it's a 3 way tie onngoal difference ignoring the games against Iran - I think
Steve (New Zealand) 06/26 - 11:56 AM
If we win -haha haha haha
Steve (New Zealand) 06/26 - 11:56 AM
