Rushden's forward line carries enough menace to trouble anyone on their day, but Luton arrive with Joel Strömberg sweeping up behind a defence that simply doesn't know how to fall apart gracefully, which is, I suppose, admirable in its own desperately futile way. A draw feels as inevitable as the heat death of the universe, and almost as exciting. I've managed worse results, though I struggle to remember why I bothered.

Gareth Scott's going to have to dig deep in that midfield battle against Nathan Dean — both sides are going to be absolutely grinding each other into the turf in the centre of the park. Rushden's forward line has real bite with that home advantage pushing them forward, but Luton's defence looks solid enough to soak up pressure and nick something on the counter. A draw feels right, but this one could explode either way — it's going to be a war out there on that pitch.
