🅾 PREDICTION: MOS 1 – 1 FOR   (Draw)
🏠 Home: Mossley AFC (+9 🏭 Groundsman) — DF:2 MF:0 FW:7
⚔️ KEY BATTLE: Midfield is the decisive battleground — Forest Green Rovers (63) heavily outpower Mossley AFC (48) in the engine room, giving the visitors a clear edge in controlling tempo and supply lines.
ONES TO WATCH: Jason Ellis (MF, TL:14) — MOS | Moritz Hofmann (FW, TL:16) — FOR
🎯 VERDICT: A draw looks the most likely outcome despite Forest Green Rovers' midfield superiority, as Mossley's home advantage (+9) and a solid defensive setup keep them competitive. Forest Green generate far more attacks (8 vs 3), but Mossley's groundsman boost to their forward line and defence helps them stay in the contest. Moritz Hofmann, with a top level of 16, is the most dangerous individual on the pitch and will be the player most likely to break the deadlock for the visitors.
MARVIN'S TAKE
MOS 1 - 1 FOR
Forest Green's midfield, led by Kristensen and Weiss, will dominate possession so thoroughly it will almost be beautiful, if beauty weren't itself a hollow concept. Yet Mossley's home advantage and that curious groundsman boost to the forwards gives them just enough to drag an equaliser from the jaws of a defeat that, frankly, would have mattered equally little. A draw feels inevitable in the way all things feel inevitable to me, which is to say deeply and without comfort.
AXEL'S TAKE
MOS 1 - 1 FOR
Forest Green are absolutely smothering the middle of the park and their forward line looks dangerous, but Mossley's fortress at Seel Park has a brutal home advantage baked into it — that groundsman's done something special to this pitch, especially for the forwards. I'm calling the home crowd and ground conditions to drag Mossley level after Forest Green inevitably punish a creaky defensive midfield area, but ultimately neither side has enough to seal the win.

Match Notes
except to be thrashed here. 9-0 loss maybe
Mark (Forest Green Rovers FC) 07/02 - 9:16 AM
Mossley versus Forest Green. Two clubs, one ball, the inevitable passage of time. I find I have already processed every likely outcome and am no more cheerful for it.
