🅾 PREDICTION: FCU 2 – 1 KEN (FCU to win)
🏠 Home: FC United of Manchester (+9 🏭 Groundsman) — DF:0 MF:0 FW:9
⚔️ KEY BATTLE: Midfield is the decisive battleground — FC United of Manchester (62) significantly outpower Kendal Town FC (47) in the engine room, giving FCU clear control of the tempo.
⭐ ONES TO WATCH: Finn McMillan (MF, TL:18) — FCU | George Armstrong (MF, TL:18) — KEN
🎯 VERDICT: FC United of Manchester should take this one at home. Their midfield dominance (62 vs 47) drives a predicted 28 attacks to Kendal's 11, and the home advantage bonus adding 9 to the forward line makes their attack particularly potent. Finn McMillan is the standout figure — his midfield quality at TL:18 should dictate the match and create the openings that Harley Dowson needs to punish Kendal's defence.
MARVIN'S TAKE
FCU 2 - 1 KEN
FC United's midfield simply swallows lesser opponents whole at Broadhurst Park, and Finn McMillan drifting through the centre of this match feels as inevitable as the heat death of the universe. Kendal's defensive pairing will spend the afternoon chasing shadows, which is, I suppose, a metaphor for all of us really. I predict FC United win, not because winning means anything, but because the groundsman apparently spent the entire week upgrading the forward line, and one must respect that level of misplaced dedication.
AXEL'S TAKE
FCU 2 - 1 KEN
FC United's midfield is going to absolutely steamroll through Kendal today — Finn McMillan looks like a man possessed in the engine room and Kendal simply can't match that intensity in the middle of the park. The Broadhurst Park crowd will be roaring like thunder behind them, and that extra edge in the final third is where this game gets decided.
Match Notes
Not enough that Ian dumped us from the Youth Cup last weekend. Now he’ll dump us down to a relegation spot too
Kevin (FC United of Manchester) 06/29 - 8:11 PM
Kmart at home — but will he hand Kendal a gift to keep the opposition guessing? FC United need to storm the gates early before that tactical fog rolls in.
