Evesham have brought absolutely nothing going forward, and I say that with the same hollow certainty I bring to all my observations about this cruel, indifferent universe. Chasetown's midfield, with Luciano Renteria pulling the strings, should simply suffocate whatever faint ambitions Evesham carried down here on the coach. A home win, a clean sheet, and yet somehow I find myself unable to muster even the faintest flicker of enthusiasm about any of it.

Chasetown's forward line is going to absolutely steamroll Evesham's defensive unit tonight — there's a massive gulf in quality up front and Evesham simply don't have the firepower to threaten back. Home advantage amplifies everything, and with the Groundsman clearly favouring the attacking third, this pitch is set up like a fortress for the hosts. Evesham will be fighting to survive from the first whistle.
