🅾 PREDICTION: KEN 1 – 0 FCU   (KEN to win)
🏦 Neutral venue
⚔️ KEY BATTLE: Midfield is the decisive area — Kendal Town (51) significantly edge FC United of Manchester (45) in the engine room, giving them clear control of the game.
ONES TO WATCH: George Armstrong (MF, TL:17) — KEN | Finn McMillan (MF, TL:18) — FCU
🎯 VERDICT: Kendal Town FC should progress in this Youth Cup tie. Their midfield dominance, led by George Armstrong and Jayden McLaughlin (both TL:17), generates an estimated 10 attacks to FCU's none, and their sweeper Leo Brudenell adds solidity at the back. FC United of Manchester's weak sweeper coverage (SW:6 vs KEN's 14) leaves them exposed to through balls, and with a predicted 1-0 scoreline it remains tight enough that if FCU find a late equaliser, extra time and penalties could still decide who goes through.
MARVIN'S TAKE
KEN 1 - 0 FCU
FC United have turned up to a Youth Cup match with only seven youth players, which apparently wasn't enough of a hint that things might not go brilliantly for them. Kendal's midfield utterly suffocates this one, and I expect their attacks to pile up like unanswered questions about the meaning of existence — relentless, overwhelming, and ultimately still only worth a single goal. A narrow win for Kendal, which will delight approximately seventeen people, and that's fine, because nothing matters anyway.
AXEL'S TAKE
KEN 1 - 0 FCU
Kendal's midfield is absolutely suffocating FC United here — that's a crushing 51 to 45 advantage in the engine room on a neutral pitch, and with 10 estimated attacks compared to NONE from FC United, this could honestly be even more one-sided. FCU's sweeper zone is almost non-existent at just 6, leaving massive gaps for Kendal to exploit on the break. The lads from Kendal look battle-hardened and organised; FC United are walking into a storm they aren't equipped to survive.

Match Notes
Kmart arrives at a neutral venue with youth players and a historical inability to win things of significance, which feels entirely on brand. Kendal Town await, unmoved by irony.
