Can the Squirrels be stopped? (Session 7)
Posted by Allan Sellers on Sunday, Jan. 2nd, 2022 at 1:42 AM

Christer's Schenectady are 9-3 with two conference matches remaining.

If they win just 1 they are guaranteeed at least a share of the conference title.

It they win both they win it outright.

The Bananas and Bullfrogs are 8-4 and right on their heels.  Can they catch up?

The Bananas wont face the squirrels in the last two matches. Schenectady controls their own destiny, while we have to win out and hope for a Squirrel loss. Interestingly, Burling and Schenectady both face Normal and Teutopolis in their last two matches.

This also happens with Quincy and Columbia who both play New Orleans and Mendon. It's a coincidence that both conferences happen with top 2 teams but I don't like it.

I'm going to run it past Al to see if it can be changed easily his side if I can change it mine. It's going to happen sometimes but I'd rather it not be in the last two games.

Just a quick update. The 2 vs 2 happens five times in a season. I tried to sort out another schedule that satisfied no team with2 home conference games in a session and although the numbers were different I still ended up with 2 vs 2 five times

So I've just changed the schedule for nest season so this happens in the middle five sessions
