In the first session of season 8 the Mendon Mushrooms has played 3 different games. 
A very big defeat against the Squirrels and a close defeat against the Pushing Peas, but also a nice victory against Sasquatches.
It was the first victory of new manager van Rossum and he was very happy with it: "It is always nice to win a game, but I haven't had the pleasure to experience this at TMVL. Now it is important to focus on session 2 and get some other good results in. We are second in the Big East Conference, so we have a good ranking to protect."
