More helpfully, I suspect your 4* recruitment strategy is probably to blame.  The top recruiters are definitely James and James, so my tip would be to always see where Alton and Cinci are bidding and just get in there and pay more.

My old Maths teacher put on a report "James is far too content with the mediocre".  The legacy of this comment is that nearly 40 years later my parents still recall it and can occasionally still say it! (and probably undoutedly true!).  He did also say I was the most natural leg break bowler he had ever seen.  Considering I wasn't bowling leg breaks but dobbing away swing this made me question his judgement  and my lack of an international cricket career has supported I was right!.

Getting good recruits is getting harder and harder.  The days of lucking out and getting seven 5* in a row I think are in the past,  So thanks for the compliment Roger, but please do not all load up on any recruit I show interest in!.  Alton's yes definitely.
