Well the last few seasons the Shrimps have generally got off to a few poor starts to the season before kicking back into gear. We could not however face another 0 - 3 start to the season so rather than rest our senior players in the opening fixtures to get their fitness up without using our CP´s this year we have thrown them straight into the fray and it seems to have paid off with three good wins admittedly against second string teams (so not quite as formidable a start as it first appears!). It does mean however we have had to use a lot of CP´s to raise the fitness of our older players rather than on strengthening the youngsters. Which I may of course regret further down the line. Still there is plenty of time to get them up and running (hopefully). The fans are happy with the 3-0 start too with a top of the rankings spot to boot. Lets see if we can keep this momentum going!
