Tied (Session 7)
Posted by Steve Turner on Sunday, Jan. 2nd, 2022 at 11:15 AM

With two wins in the Conference we have caught Quincy at the top. I think we're second on Set percentage but have a feeling that we share the title even though the best set percentage goes through to the National Championship. However if we win both games 3-0 and Quincy win theirs 3-2 we overtake them on set percentage. It's going to be Columbia's best Conference so far no matter what the results are in the next two matches.

It was a difficult decision whether or not  to take on Quincy with T7 in the WGM Cup but with the possibility of catching them in the Conferernce I had to keep enough back for the San Diego game. I had brief hopes after getting to 1-1 but they were very brief. With two C rated players we weren't likely to win.

Very happy to finally pick up a 5* recruit for next season. Perhaps Karter White cost too much but prices seem to be around there just lately.

It's got to that stage of the season where I'm looking at XP and where players need to play more, or less, to reap maximum benefit. My T7 won't be playing as much as usual.
