Four to go (Session 10)
Posted by Steve Turner on Tuesday, Jan. 25th, 2022 at 5:47 PM

With just four games to go Columbia have already surpassed last season's best ever. Last season we won 18 games and we're on 21. I'll be happy with 24 and disappointed with anything less.

The team is in good shape for next season, especially the big as players are there to replace seniors. It's really only Fisher at middle blocker who will be missed but it won't be long before Harmon and Hicks shine.

A little disappointed to be out of the Nationals but we played well outscoring Sheboygan by 8 points. Unfortunately we scored 15 more in 2 sets and them 7 more in 3.

Up coming we have tough games against Quincy in the TMVL and Sheboygan again non-conference.  I expect T7 from Al but not sure about John. He has the National semi-final he'll surely go for and the TMVL as well. I'm not sure if they are in Cup or Shield or whether he'll think more about XP than a relatively nothing game against us. I'm certainly thinking about XP.
