 | Crazy Tomatoes are back (Session 1) Posted by |
If you look in the blog archives back to Decemeber 6th you'll see my "origin" post. I mention joining MSWL which eventually led here. I joined about May 2006 based on a file I've found, and in MSWL you could choose your team name. I had always been into astronomy so chose Asteria Kromatos, which means coloured stars. Player names were star names. Phil changed Asteria to hysteria and dubbed us Crazy Tomatoes and Al created the logo below after consulting me. The X is the Greek letter chi which is usually translated as ch as in chome. I just changed that to a k. Then when Al mentioned possible name changees here I jumped at the chance to change the Fighting Crabs to the Crazy Tomatoes. (Hopefully the old logo shows up).

Interesting to note that with the introduction of new teams, Micki Mac immediately starts parsing through the names. I guess it's in the genes.
Btw, she won't admit it, but all her comments here are playful and and in good fun. I think she plays this game more for press and taunting than wins and losses. So feel free to dish it right back to her. The highlight of her day is seeing a blog from Steve Turner that references her remarks.
