Divisions, divisions, divisions...
Posted by Brian Beerman on Thursday, Nov. 3rd, 2011 at 3:53 PM

Curious what others think of the divisional options offered by Al during this inaugural season of MSWL-U2.  I have no strong preference either way, though I admit there is one division I'd like to steer clear of.

Given the choice, I asked to be put down in D3... see if I can work my way up from the bottom to the top.

I just hope my team is not in the same as number 666 Devil Dave, looking at his bio, there will be lot's of blood.

Dr. Death surely has earned his nickname... he didn't choose it randomly. =)

Rob Peterson on Saturday, Nov. 5th, 2011 at 2:27 PM

Hi All - I'll be asking for Division 3 myself. I always like to start from the very bottom and work up.....or stay there forever :)

Craig Bucknall on Saturday, Nov. 5th, 2011 at 8:37 PM

Should have got a Physio after all.

But who knew I'd be stuck in a division with Dr. Death (Dave Dowson for those who don't know him professionally yet) as well as the up-and-coming High Hoodlum, Jake Hanny.  When playing against managers who keep score by the number of times a stretcher comes onto the field, sometimes hunkering down with the B-team and hoping to get a PK or three isn't such a bad idea.

Kevin Martin on Monday, Nov. 7th, 2011 at 7:14 PM

I decided to plump for Div 2 as it just seemed wrong to start at the top, although staring with a few extra experienced players is not so bad. As for Dr Death, bring it on. It will certainly make life in the second division amusing!

Vick Hall on Monday, Nov. 7th, 2011 at 9:07 PM

I wasn't really expecting to be up in D1 to start, but I'm certainly going to do my best to pull off my best Alon impersonation...

Rob Peterson on Monday, Nov. 7th, 2011 at 9:13 PM

Chuffed to be in Div 3 - no chance of relegation was highly attractive :)

Craig Bucknall on Monday, Nov. 7th, 2011 at 10:16 PM

I wasn't looking to get into D1... I was hoping for D3, with no chance of relegation, but since I'm in the top flight I'm hoping to do well enough to stay out of relegation battle.

Nickolas Vatmanidis on Saturday, Nov. 12th, 2011 at 12:19 AM

It isn't the division that worries, it's the other teams in it. Just hoping the bottom team doesn't have to seek re-election.

Carl Oakes on Saturday, Nov. 12th, 2011 at 10:46 AM

Think I might try to avoid the hardness in this United, I thought I ahould do this because all I had to do was just look at my team for the start of next season in the other united.. I have got about 4-5 of my T11 out because of suspention. So i'll leave the master Dr.Death to do the nasty work. :) Goood luck everyone :D
