I know what they are Rob - Great Performance Points and can be used to pull off that surprise performance to create an upset. How you get them and how you best use them, I'm still woeking on that.

Carl Oakes on Sunday, Nov. 13th, 2011 at 8:51 PM

We all started with 30 GPP's and can be used when you like I think - just over -type the zero next to GPP's on the orders page where you want to use them...max of 10 can be used in any one game and max of 9 in any one area

Craig Bucknall on Sunday, Nov. 13th, 2011 at 9:13 PM

Gpp are good performance points rob. They give you 30 extra levels to be used over the course of a season. They can be used in any game at any time of the season.

Some managers use them at the end of the season or an importnat cup game.

Below is an extract from the rules

Occasionally in a season a team plays above itself. To mirror this a manager has a number of GPPs (around 30 per

season) which can be used as and when he sees fit, though no more than 10 GPPs can be used in any one game (and

no area can use more than 9) . Unused GPPs cannot be carried between seasons.

ï

ï»

As stated in section 5.2, GPPs are used as additional levels in matches, with a maximum of 10 per match.

Your total GPPs for each new season will be 30, plus (or minus) any bonus GPPs gained/ lost in the last season under your

managership, as follows;

-1 GPP for each NMR.

+1 GPP for Manager Of The Month. (details/usage TBD)

+/-1 or more GPPs at the GMs discretion (this will be rare)

Graham Wilkes on Sunday, Nov. 13th, 2011 at 9:24 PM

To my knowledge, no GPP have ever been awarded in MSWL-U1 outside of the 30 that everyone gets at the start of the season.

Most managers save the GPP for later in the season - late CUP matches (semis & finals), and must-win league matches.

Rob Peterson on Sunday, Nov. 13th, 2011 at 11:08 PM

But they can be useful early in the season to make the difference between winning and losing so that you get extra CPs to help coach your players at the start of the season.

Apologies for my blank reply - for some reason I can't type in this box on my phone (other comment boxes are OK).
