Fitness Question
Posted by Craig Bucknall on Saturday, Nov. 19th, 2011 at 9:42 PM

Ok, I have my first injury :(

He's now on -5 so obviously can't play him - as he can't play in session 3 he'll drop to -4 won't he? if I then spend a CP on FIT, he'll move to -3...is that correct? Also, is there a way of speeding his recovery any more than rest and using a CP (he's AGE I)? By my reckoning, he'll be at -1 (and therefore available to play) at the start of session 5 (providing I use CP in both session 3 and 4)....ouch...I hope I'm wrong?!

Everything u say above is correct the only additional way is by having a physio brb who heals ur injured players by one level a week on top of the above!!!

Ah yes, forgot all about physio's - probably because there's no chance of our getting one this season!

Thanks Graham :)

In season 2 youll find a physio a very welcome addition and worth having especially when u play or have hardness played on you!!

Graham Wilkes on Saturday, Nov. 19th, 2011 at 9:57 PM

The Physio does not heal injured players weekly. The physio's only function is to reduce the initial fitness loss by 1. So a -5 FIT injury becomes a -4 FIT injury right away. A 0 FIT injury that would just cause the player to leave the game, doesn't.

Regardless of whether you have a physio or not, a player that starts a session at -5, can only get to -3 at the end by not playing and using CP on FIT. So, that player will be out a minimum of 2 sessions.

Interesting!

My star striker got injured in Session 1 and I missed this recovery rate issue.

Great post, just wish it had come a week earlier.
