What is a Kocsis? (Session 7)
Posted by Dave Dohm on Sunday, Nov. 14th, 2021 at 7:30 PM

Amid fierce competition for the premiere league title Preston North End has been forced to sign a 16 year old goal keeper out of central Hungary. It is definitely an interesting selection to keep the ship afloat with two sessions remaining. PNE seemed to have a comfortable lead but suddenly find themselves in second and fading fast. Kocsis is a youngster with no professional experience and what is really intriguing is the fact the keeper stands only four foot tall which led to his nickname "Little Hungarian."  During Pentele's last season at Budapest central prep he had a paltry 2.4 goals against average. The entire league will be watching PNE's next match when they travel to Oldham. Will Tim Baath ratchet up the offensive attack and will the little keeper survive?

I thought it was the bony spur on a person's backside.

There is one match here that is totally up for grabs. I really hope that Tim sees this and pounces.

Many thanks for highlighting this, Mr Dohm. And the news is...he survived! Easily!

This was a fun week.  We did a great job advertising the I-Man's dilemma.  But full marks to Ian for coming through with a W.  Well done I-Man!

Just goes to show you the offensive juggernauth that Preston has.
