Coach's Biography: James Bucknall

I am 23 years old and live in Beverley, with my partner Charlotte and our miniature dachshund Rupert - who definitely thinks he’s in charge of the household. 

I currently work for the NHS in a mental health hospital as a Healthcare Assistant and have been doing so for the past 5 years. Prior to that, I spent 2 years working in private residential care to gain the experience and qualifications needed to land my role in the NHS. It has its positives and negatives like any other job does but having to handle pressure, big personalities and unexpected situations comes naturally… which should worry a few managers on here ;). 

In my spare time, I enjoy playing these types of games which was introduced by dad (CB) - and have become addicted ever since. Away from the dugout I spend time with family and the missus, taking the boy out for long walks and have recently got the bug of going to gigs. I have been a long life supporter of Leeds United and Hartlepool United following them up and down the country when work allows me to including playing football myself on the side.

As for this league, I’ll keep things respectful - for now. But don’t get too comfortable. I’ve been quietly studying the competition, and let’s just say I’ve already spotted a few weaknesses ;).
