🅾 PREDICTION: BHA 0 – 0 PNE   (Draw)
🏦 Neutral venue
⚔️ KEY BATTLE: The forward line is the decisive area — Brighton (66) massively outgun Preston's goalkeeper and defensive setup, giving BHA a clear edge in the attacking third.
ONES TO WATCH: Ruben Gutiérrez (FW, TL:19) — BHA | Onel Rönnlund (GK, TL:18) — PNE
🎯 VERDICT: Despite the 0-0 predicted scoreline, Brighton & Hove Albion are the stronger side on paper and should control this neutral-venue FAC tie. Preston's defensive solidity — anchored by Ludwig Süle (SW 18) and Walter Hamisu (DF 18) — combined with goalkeeper Onel Rönnlund (GK 18) appears to be enough to frustrate Brighton's attacks, explaining the stalemate despite BHA generating four estimated attacks to Preston's one. Ruben Gutiérrez is Brighton's most dangerous outlet and will need to find a way past a well-organised Preston backline if this match is to be decided in normal time.
RAY'S TAKE
BHA 0 - 0 PNE
Preston have parked the bus and Ludwig Süle is organising that backline like a man possessed — Brighton will huff and puff but they're not breaking that door down today. On a neutral pitch Brighton lose their fancy-dan advantage and Preston's defensive discipline makes them genuinely hard to beat. I'll take the point for the underdogs all day long.
MARCUS'S TAKE
BHA 1 - 0 PNE
Brighton's forward line looks genuinely menacing in the final third, and on a neutral pitch Preston's defensive shape will be tested far more than they'd like to admit. Rönnlund will have a busy afternoon between the sticks, but I suspect one moment of quality from Brighton's attack will be enough to settle this.

Match Notes

Beerman says he's unpredictable but Preston are his kryptonite. I-Man knows exactly what's coming. Watch for the sucker punch early.
~ Olmec Head Ray ~ Jun 20 (Blyth Spartans AFC)
This is the fifth time Ian and I have clashed in the FA Cup. We're currently sitting on 3-1 record, so the best we seem to do vs PNE is in this Cup.
~ Brian ~ Jun 22 (Brighton & Hove Albion)
With our luck this season, a 4-1 record is inevitable
