🅾 PREDICTION: OLA 0 – 1 LIN   (LIN to win)
🏠 Home: Oldham Athletic AFC (+9 🏭 Groundsman) — DF:0 MF:1 FW:8
⚔️ KEY BATTLE: Attacking is the decisive area — Lincoln City (FW:57) narrowly edge Oldham Athletic (FW:51) in the final third, giving the visitors the sharper cutting edge.
ONES TO WATCH: Timothy James (GK, TL:17) — OLA | Emir Selmi (DF, TL:19) — LIN
🎯 VERDICT: Lincoln City FC are predicted to take this one, despite Oldham's home advantage of +9, their defence (44) cannot quite contain Lincoln's forward threat (57) across an estimated 13 attacks. Emir Selmi marshals Lincoln's backline with authority, limiting Oldham's opportunities at the other end. Selmi's defensive excellence at TL:19 should prove the decisive factor in keeping Oldham goalless and securing the narrow away victory.
RAY'S TAKE
OLA 0 - 1 LIN
Lincoln's front line is going to cause Oldham real problems today — that attacking threat is too sharp for a defence that looks stretched thin. Oldham's midfield needs to win the battle in the middle or this gets ugly fast. Timothy James will have to be at his very best just to keep it respectable.
MARCUS'S TAKE
OLA 0 - 1 LIN
Lincoln's forward line carries enough threat to expose what I'd describe as Oldham's midfield as something of a revolving door — one additional attack attempt across thirteen versus ten tells you where the momentum lives in this fixture. Oldham's home advantage adds a little cushion, but not enough to paper over the cracks when Lincoln are pressing with purpose from the front. Bienvenido Godoy will need a very good day indeed to keep this competitive at the other end.

Match Notes

Antoine sets up at home, which usually means something — though Lincoln arrive quietly, as they tend to do. Watch the spaces behind Oldham's fullbacks.
