Your commissioner recently sat down for an interview (well, it was an email) with Sheboygan Vampire Bats Coach John Holden.

The commissioner found the Sheboygan head boss to be somewhat surly and terse in his responses.

Who is your least favorite team in the Big East and why is it Cincinnati?

Last time Sheboygan played Cincy on the road, not only did we get badly beaten but the team went out for "chili" and most of the players got sick and we lost our next couple matches.

If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be and why?

I'd be an entree because when I'm in the USA or Canada, I'm kind of the main course

What was your favorite vacation or trip and where is the photo?

I spent five days in Iceland by myself in 2012, those photos are long gone, but I had a rental car with unlimited mileage and just kept driving everywhere.

Do you have two or three other nicknames people call you that I could use?

The two big ones I get a lot are either "Holden" or "TMVL Champ."

Name something about TMVL that you do not understand.

How anything related to the match engine works.

I think FIT was a bit broken until Kevin's post showing the level of strategy involved. Barring that, I'd like to see a little bit less home team advantage by picking which skills you want to buff.

What is your current job or gig or hobby/side gig (feel free not to answer especially if you are in between jobs; I’ve been there)?

Right now I'm sort of between contracts, but I am providing support for New Star Games, makers of Retro Goal, Retro Bowl, and the New Star sports series. But I have three prospective client meetings in January, and if your UK firm needs a programmer or policy analyst and can sponsor, I'm all ears.

Will your TMVL team win any titles this season?

What is your favorite real life sports team and why?  Feel free to name a couple.

Arizona Diamondbacks, North Melbourne Football Club, and Dinamo Zagreb.
