1-star Libero rolled a 7 at RCV and DEF and ends up a C+ potential.  Wow!

5-star Max ATK OH rolled max at every skill but one (DEF only 10).  Along with Jason and CB's Fr OH he's one of the 3 top OH Potential Freshman

5-star MB rolls 11 at two of his 3 key skills (10 at the other) with A potential.

3-star S Walkon was average across the board.  But B- potential is serviceable this season.  

When I read Al's email saying I had the Freshman with the best potential this season I must admit to being quite excited.  I'd paid top dollar for a Libero with max +2 RCV, so with a bit of help from Olmec I could have quite the superstar. 

Then I looked.

Serve...minimum roll.  Defence...minimum roll.  Set...minimum roll.

If this is the top recruit this season I dread to think how bad the dice were for the rest of you!

5* Max ATK RS. Average rolls but at least BLK was 11 and SRV 10

4* Max +2 RCV. Slightly below average with 8 and 9 in the 8-10 range. And the 8 is DEF

5*MB. Slightly below with 11, 10, 10. Unfortunately the 11 is SRV rather than ATK or BLK

3* OH. Above average with 9s apart from a 7 at DEF.

Overall a bit meh but usually worse.

I think I finall figued out how to do this!

5* Max SRV MB (May) - Got (paid for) the MAX SRV. BLK and ATK rolled low. A- max po. Overall dispponting, Hoping for at least A po or even A+ with the max SRV known coming in.

4* S (Nolte, not Nick) - Got a max roll at SET, so def happy with that. SRV rolled low, BLK middle, so not terrific for next heavily used skills. Got a plus roll ATK. B+ po, not terrible and happy with the max SET.

4* OH (Faber) - Nothing much to see here, all middle rolls, but RCV came up low. B po, serviceable-ish.

4* MB (Jonkman) - SRV and BLK bioh came up low, ATK middle. B po, fills a spot (Ish).

3* RS (Kubas) - Nothing much to see here, middle rolls, but ATK came up low. B- po, bench minutes.

As a final note, we had the #1 ranked recruting class, so we are really trying to lipstick the pig with our assessment, it wasn't great.

I think they're good. Three B's and two A's seems fair.

4* OH Klaus Heine: All 9s and a 6 in Set. Potential: B+

4* L Erhard Knauer: 10s in Srv & Rcv, 1s in Blk & Atk, 9 in Def and 2 in Set. Potential: A-

4* MB Aaron Grimes: 9 in Srv, 1 in Rcv, 8 in Blk, 10 in Atk, 4 in Def and 2 in Set. Potential: B+

3* MB Daren Robins: 7 in Srv, 2 in Rcv, 9 in Blk, 8 in Atk, 3 in Def and 2 in Set. Potential: B

5* OH van Gelder with +1 srv and at and def maxed, rcv and blk at 10, pot: A -> nice

4* MB Houtman with +1 srv and blk and def maxed, at with 8, pot: B+ -> nice

3* MB Clarke with at maxed, and srv and blk in the middle with 8, pot: B -> nice for a free recruit

So overall I'm happy with this years' recruits. 

That d20 is wrong. I had a set and d20 had 0-9 twice and you painted them 2 different colours with one set of numbers representing 1-10 and the other 11-20 (20 of course representing double damage). With two such dice you could roll 0-99 or 1-100

Mine were okay I suppose!

The Good...

MB Mostow - This was the team's splurge in the 5* market. Paying a premium for him at 1137RP, he did not disappoint with 11s in SRV and ATK and a 10 in BLK. He will be an anchor for this team for the next 4 years. With A potential, the sky is the limit.

RS White - I'd like to be able to get a 4* recruit to an A grade. I'll have to settle for a B+ with White. A 10 in ATK and 9s in BLK and DEF will allow Antioch to plug a gap in the roster that's been plaguing us for years. 

The Bad...

The 3* gamble didn't work. Though we didn't may much for them, so I guess there's that? 

S Wulf with a Max SRV +2 should have been great. He starts with an 11 SRV and has a 9 DEF, but everything else is just meh. 7s in BLK, ATK, and the all-important SET. He'll have a B- potential... I wanted more. 

OH Hudson was a free walk-on, so nothing lost really here. But he's just average with 9s in BLK and DEF and 8s in SRV and ATK, he probably won't see to much action.
