I think Kevin's explanation covers everything. If you don't understand what you're looking at in the spreadsheet then ask. I had a sneak preview and asked already so know what's what.

One thing I have noticed is how good Baton Rouge are. They have 24 points and Columbia 13 in second place. Now, assuming it didn't change the quads, if we had beaten Quincy then we'd have 18 points. If Baton Rouge had lost any of their games they'd have 19 points and still top despite us being 9-0 and them 8-1.

This 5 points gained/lost doesn't matter whether you were home or away or what quad the team is in - as long as that team hasn't changed quads.

And if beating Quincy meant they were in quad II (they are on the cusp) then we'd only have 17 points ((with a win) but as Baton Rouge have also played Quincy they would also drop a point.

Reminds me a lot of the NET rankings for college basketball. Maybe that's been mentioned before and I didn't notice it. Was that the inspiration for this design?

That's correct Bryce.  Kevin did all work to translate that into something we could use here.  He did an amazing job.  

This is somehow a convoluted scheme to cause Al's team to drop in the rankings (I know Kevin wouldn't artificially inflate his own team's ranking). And knowing this, I approve of these scheme. LOL

Looking forward to the new rankings here. Can't see us catching Baton Rouge up though who went 3-0 for the session.

Which quad are you in? 

And what do you think about this rankings format?

I'm somewhat disappointed in the lack of response here considering how often people comment on the rankings.

Columbia are in Quad I and I love this format.

Antioch is in Quad I, right where they belong. Ranked #5 - we'll take it, but expect to be higher at the end of the season. 

And if not, Rob will let his players know how disappointed he is in them like in season 4!  :-) Haha!

I'm not sure how we're so high after starting 7-8, but this is excellent work.
