Anyone know of any UK based postal united games that are still running?
Just interested to find out if any are still on the go and MIGHT want to join...time is always the enemy when I look at taking something else on :)

I expect Mike Parnaby will have some good sources, but type pbm hopscotch into Google and it will take you to a page with Alan Parr's e-mail and snail-mail addresses. Looks like there's teams available there.

Hi Mike
The following are still running
Pete Burrows topof the league and Puma
Hopscotch by Alan Parr
Striker by Martin Draper
The Thing by Colin Ford more football management
Open Management by Mick Haytack
If you need any details let me know

This is my website that lists all the games I play. Some are United based and many have vacancies NOW.

Just had a quick look at games with places at the moment. Best bet is Top of the League with 3 teams available, and Puma with at least one team available. Both run by Pete Burrows and well run too!
Well worth dropping all the GM's an email if interested and mention my name as the contact. I get nothing from this, but often a GM prefers a word of mouth introduction rather than some random new manager taking a team.
Mike

I play in both of these and can recommend them.

Good luck Craig. And I'm sure Compo would be willing to trade with you...just remember how Compo values players. :-) (Hi Compo!)

Thanks people, much appreciated. Will have a look when time permits :)

Hi Al that's the good thing about online gaming there is so much more interaction with other players, it's easier to trade and chat etc, but given the number of years I have been playing postal united, I started when I was 18 it's hard to give up the teams that I have been managing.
Good luck on your choices Craig

I can also recommend Puma and Top Of The League - been ambling around in the lower divisions there for some years now. Striker and The Management are also very good, but the latter is probably the least likely to have vacancies as Mick originally set it up with people who'd been active postally for some time with a good track record of reliability.
