For info, the 3x rule doesn't seem to be working as it says in the rules. The rules say surplus levels are ignored, but the order form doesn't seem to allow you to put orders in where the 3x rule is broken?
My feeling is that of the two, the rules are correct.

Al's aware of this one, but obviously forgot to change the rulebook to match the online implementation!

It's more helpful for some managers to be made aware that they're breaking the 3:1 rule on the orders page prior to entering orders and then realizing what happened after the match. Protecting them from themselves, so to speak.
We could perhaps change the rule to read: "Your orders will be ignored until you quit trying to break the 3:1 rule."
