Next saturday I will play my first youth cup match.
I have some questions.
At the moment I have 10 youth players, will I play only with ten? The 11th player will have a skill of 0? Will I be fined for not fielding 11 players or the fine is only for the managers with 7 players or less?

Hi Davide, basically you have to have 8 or more SBY/APP players. Most teams just go with 8 and then fit in their higher skilled players to complete the lineup. So you do not have to play more than 8 SBY/APP players...
I'm not sure I've ever had to enact the fines, but they are there as a remote "just in case" scenario.
So just play 8 SBY/APP players and then 3 good Age I + players to fill the roster.

What I was trying to say, Davide, is that I don't think you can put in an illegal line-up. I've just tried saving orders with 7 youth players, and then with 12 players and neither were allowed.
I'm not sure what the NMR program would do with only 7 youth players in a squad, however.
Some teams go with 9 youth players. I made the mistake of having a SBY Gk last season and playing him. As my oppenent also had a SBY Gk I thought I had a chance. Unfortunately James, at Burton, had 9 youth players in the squad for the game and the Gk didn't play, and Burton went on to win the league and reach the Youth Cup final. One player played 5 games in season 3 and was sold as an APP this season for 100k.
This season I have an APP Gk - but also another 8 youth players, but the APP has to play 1 game anyway.
