Is it time for FCUM to win their first Title?
FCUM - Could this be Manager Martin´s year? With a T11 of 11.82 and cash to splash they are in with a shout. The squad look good, but maybe need a bit more firepower up front and that´s where the cash shouuld be spent!
AFC Wimbledon - Also have a T11 of 11.82 and Manager Dohm is a man to be feared in this League with a star studded squad and cash to spend for more quality. They do maybe need a backup keeper, but only if the newly aquired keeper Hebert from Bedford gets crocked or turns out to be a liability...
Burton - Have a lower T11 at 11.45 than the other two but have a solid squad and a cash mountain to buy in that additional quality for a title bid.
Boston - Currently bubbling under with a T11 of 11.73 their squad has no real weakness. Could do with a star or two and they have cash to buy some. Backup keeper might also be nice.
Welling - Topping the T11 charts at 12.27 I am doing them an injustice maybe of predicting a 5th place finish. They are certainly hot up top and look set to out Shepshed Shepshed in a goalscoring bonanza this year. Certainly it looks like a we are going to score one more than you strategy as defensively they are weak. Can others outscore them though. The cash is burnt too so they are set to go.
Kingstonian - OK we are now looking at the division relegation battle and Kingstonian with a T11 of 11.27 are set to avoid it. They have a solid little squad and some cash to spend. I likeeeey!
Shepshed - Only have a T11 of 11.18 but when does that normally stop them from putting on a title push. Maybe this year they seem a little less formidable. The attack still looks strong but not overpowering, but defence is weak and a reserve keeper is certainly needed or trouble could be on the cards.
Halifax - With a T11 of only 11.36 this could be the yoyo season when Halifax go down again to the second tier. The midfield is anaemic and a reserve keeper would be useful.
York - A T11 of 11.09 is low especially when the squad is paper thin. They do have cash but need to spend some of it quick or it will be a season to forget.
Kendal - Have a nice cash pile but hold on they only have a T11 of 10.55 and that suggests they will be this season´s whipping boys. A weak toothless squad that needs more players in every department. Can MAnager Lindsay weave some magic?
Have your say who is picking up the title this year? A poll witll follow in another post

Vick's funny! Our T11 stats are a bit inflated due to guys that won't help us score. We'd have to post clean sheets most matches to have a chance, and with an upcoming young Gk, that's not likely.
Here's some perspective on Division One, and where FCUM falls:
Division One by Team Pedigree:
The Evil Empire
Kendal Town FC - 40 seasons in D1, 9 first place finishes. Relegated only once and immediately won Div2 and bounced back up.
Shepshed Dynamo FC - 36 seasons in Div1, never relegated, 12 titles.
AFC Wimbledon - 34 seasons in Div1, 8 titles, relegated only twice.
The Challengers
Burton Albion FC - 31 seasons in Div1, 3 titles, relegated 6 times.
York City FC - 20 seasons in Div1, 3 titles, relegated 6 times.
Halifax Town FC - 15 seasons in Div1, 1 titles, relegated 8 times.
Welling United FC - 12 seasons in Div1, 2 titles, relegated 3 times.
The Upstarts
Boston United - 19 seasons in Div1, 11 relegations, best finish 3rd place (twice)
Kingstonian FC - 8 seasons in Div1, 2 relegations, best finish 3rd place (once)
The Never Was
FC United of Manchester - 10 seasons in Div1, 4 relegations, never finished higher than 5th (twice)
As you can see, there are 7 former champs, 2 top-three finishers, and then us. I appreciate Vick's optimism, and his willingness to bet on the Dark Horse! I fear we will fail spectacularly at fulfilling such high hopes this season.
