I've read what I got emailed and I'm just wondering how do I sign SBY's? Is that through the Auction?
Thanks.
There will probably be many more questions by the way.

Hi Matthew. Go to transactions. Sign them from that page.

You may want to get your youth director in place before you get them.

Andy is wrong - you definitely must get your youth director before signing any SBYs.

Thanks guys. So if I've read email and rues properly I need a V player to convert?

Yes. You need to convert 3 of your age V players for the back room boys you have missing. Coach, Youth coach & youth director.

Yes and do not convert Hussain. He can stay on the roster for one more season. Use the lowest SL Age V.

Thanks,
Maybe I'm blind but is there a convert button somewhere?

BRBs are on the same transactions page as adding SBYs. Look for:
| REASSIGN A PLAYER AS A BACKROOM BOY |

Thanks Al. Hope all my questions and missing things are fine.

I've read the guide for Auctions and I have a bank of 1051. I can spread that out amongst three different players to bring my squad to 30 before season starts?
Is it similar to TMVL, for those who play?
Thanks

It's similar to TMVL. Highest bid wins for 1k above the second bid or the value price if no other bids. Just like TMVL the better players go for bigger prices. Two auctions before the season starts so you can put in a few bids for auction 1 and get an idea of the prices being paid.

Thanks Andy.
Matt: Auction players join your team immediately. So you don't wait a season like with TMVL recruits.
Also, we have 8 auctions each season. 2 before the season starts and 6 during it.
Don't worry about getting to 30 before the season starts. You'll be able to add during the 6 auctions in the season as needed.

Hopefully someone suggested you make sure you have a Youth Director in the BRB panel before you start signing SBYs.

I would note that while it can be helpful to have 30 players, it's not necessary, and may not be desirable. Age I and older players earn you CP to coach your players, which makes it good to have a full roster. But, you can't possibly coach all of the players on a 30-man roster, and odds are you can't play them all, either, due to the necessity of playing youth players to coach them up. Add in the fact that adding players usually costs money, and you have to decide whether the cost of adding a couple of CP per session is worth it. You'll notice that at the moment, only the non-league teams have 30 players. Some human-controlled teams will get there during the season, but most will not.

Thanks Jason and thanks Carl.
Al sent me an email regarding BRBs and I believe I've done the right thing.

Mind you believing and doing doesn't mean I'm doing it right 🤪

We're 35 seasons into this league and outside of Alon, Ian, and Dave Dohm, I don't know if any of us can truly say we're confident we're doing it right.

You need a good DF and there's two in the next auction. You won't have enough for the II/14 and probably not enough for the II/13.
I'm not sure the III/10 is all that good to you but you could use him and their III/9 you have for getting FIT up.

ps; Wise choice in regards to your Captain (haha). Once you have another decent defender you will be all set (as Steve has already pointed there are a few options in the auction)

Thanks Vick, the person who suggested that is a wise person indeed 😀
I've bidded on 2 defenders so see what happens
