![]() | Who is your Nemesis? (Hint: probably one of these guys) Posted by |
Pro tip: If your photo is on Facebook (or social media) I will find it and post it, so...
This is Ian (PNE/Kendal), Alon (Tranmere/Shepshed), and Rebuilding Dave (Lewes/Wimbledon). Collectively known as the Evil Empire.
Per a request from Olmec Steve Turner I have updated the Team page History-Team tab.
To get there...
1) Click your logo near the top right (which takes you to your team page
2) Click the History-Team tab
Then SCROLL DOWN
At the bottom you will see the Head to Head records.
Steve suggested I add the Win & and the GD to the page. Click on columm headers to sort.
For example, here is my Harrogate page:
Notice which three teams I do poorly against? Yup!
Who are the teams you dominate?
Who are the teams you do terrible against?
Let's get those posts going here for all that 5k.

The Evil Empire... IN ORDER... followed closely behind by Big Al himself and my longtime opponent Simon.

Dave D is the only one to make my top (bottom) three is both U1 and U2 (Lewes is #2 in both leagues). Ian is top 5 here and top 3 in U1, so close to a double whammy. We are actually OK here in U2 vs Alon (#10), not sure what has happened there (and do not want to wake a sleeping giant).

Personal Nemesis List:
Boston .350 (this hurts)
Bedford .408 (coming for you, Simon)
Harrogate .500 (like that one)

And our long-time fiercest competitor across both leagues:
Burton .571 (surprised by this, shhhh)
The -1 GD may actually paint a more accurate picture

No surprises here:
Kendal .175
Wimbledon .222
Burton .262
The biggest surprise? We have a .500 record against FC UM.

Also just noticed we have lost the most games to Luton, and have a -46 goal difference against them.

Like Rob., it's Kendal, Shepshed and Wimbledon that cause us issues, with Harrogate in 4th. Perhaps we need to change our nickname to Cannon Fodder.

Worst teams in order: Kendal, Burton (very close at 351), Shepshed, Fylde, forest Green, Halifax and not until 7th is Wimbledon, which I'm amazed at. And it's not like it's just a few matched which can easily throw up odd results as Wimbledom are the team we've played the most.
