Ok think this is the last proposal, in case you have had enough of the ideas!
Why
To provide a way to change tactics without the penalty of Out of Position players.
What does he do
Two (or one) players per match can play out of position, without penalty. Has no effect on players playing out of position as Sweeper.
Issues to consider.
A DF playing as FW would normally lose 4SL, maybe this coach should be limited just to saving 2SL for being OOP.
Advantages/Disadvantages
Allows greater choice and chance of being able to select the right tactics against an opposition, by moving players into different positions with no or reduced penalty. Could allow for different squad development. Ie do I need any actual MF any more?
Disadvantage that it makes it harder to guess opposition tactics!

Would this be helpful also if players are injured?
I imagine this might have unanticipated impacts on auctions. If you can play a DF or MF out of position, why pay a premium for a FW?
I'm not in favor of this one as it makes the game that much more random and eliminates good game plans.
A nice to have BRB, but not a game-changer I think

Coach Beard was a great coach... Nate was the master tactician. I loved that show.
Of all the coaches this one is not a favorite of mine either. For the reasons mentioned it takes away the pre game planning aspect as really you have little idea how the opposing coach is going to set his team up. It gives too much advantage in terms of squad flexibility. I would be more in favor of adding some utility players into the game who can play in different positions, probably by introducing a few into the auctions and making them rare. As Jason mentions this coach as it stands will have a negative impact on the auctions too, making life too easy for Managers in getting the players that they need.
