Hello everyone! I've finally gotten to the point where I've announced my newest video game - Statto Complete Basketball - to the public. It's on Steam at https://store.steampowered.com/app/3580390/Statto_Complete_Basketball/ I'm posting here because I think it's welcome? and I need a little bit of help testing the game out. It's very ambitious - professional leagues, college, and high school basketball all simulated simultaneously (currently have data for the top level of high school ball for about 15 states.) The custom league generator is already top notch as well. First, I'm hoping to finish an alpha version by the end of the month. If you want to help me test an unfinished game in detail, I need a couple users to try out the game in depth and help point out "defects" and make suggestions, especially around how the game's computer GMs make transactions. Second, once the alpha version is fleshed out, I will need beta testers, mostly to make sure the game works as intended. It's not quite ready yet - for instance, one form of the 2-3 offense is predicated on having four players on the perimeter who then cut in to attack the basket, but the game generates 80% of their shots on the perimeter because most of the time the players are on the perimeter. I need to fix this, probably today. But this is the level of detail I'm going for! If you have a Steam account, I'd be grateful if you could please wishlist it as every wishlist helps.
