Well we made it through the season 5 partial repeat.  

Thanks to all of you with the patience to hang in there with the hardware issues back around May.  

We kicked this league off on February 21st, 2009 and 15 months later have completed 5 seasons in pretty good form.  Not many leagues make it past two...especially home-grown software ones, so I hope you are having as much fun as I am.   If you are don't be shy about yelling about it.   

Which brings us to season 6.  Before I run any aging and update teams I want to ensure folks have looked at the results (that well just occurred less than 4 hours before).  

Here are a few facts about season 6:

- The pre-season auction 1 (there are two of them) will start on either August 7th or August 14th.

- Aging will likely occur by end of day Monday, August 2nd (perhaps sooner...again, I'd like people to see results first).

- I really don't have any rules changes in mind (other than some additional website updates).

- I do plan to announce, then WIPE all the bios as a technique to get people to update theirs.  I'll give you a brief heads up before I do that, but we need a bio refresher...and some K will be awarded.

- If people want to move around a bit to different teams/divisions, I'm 100% supportive of that.  So email me if you have that desire.  Maybe you need a different challenge, maybe a different team will help, its up to you.  Just let me know.  

- That's really about it.  There are always things I can/will add, but I'll just keep doing them in-flight during the season for now.

As an aside, if you plan to be "on holiday" for all of August...too bad!  I get 10 days of vacation, not 45 (Ian?)...so I'll be here to keep things moving.  You just need to find an internet cafe or buy your iPhone/iPad/etc.  

Seriously, if you do need help with lineups I will help or find someone to do so if you can't get something in, again, just communicate and you'll get assistance.  It may sound like I'm a mean person the way I treat Ian, but if we're honest with ourselves, Ian craves/expects it.
