During my first run in this league, the dominant tactic, as perfected by Alon, was a 1-1-2-2-5 lineup. When I returned I assumed that would still be the case. Wow, how wrong I was.
I am impressed to see so many teams winning with stout DF and MF area totals. I tried that approach when I started. The 'Gulls consistently held our opponents to under two goals, but we often lost close 1-0 matches.
With so many teams having a more level balance across all outfield areas, I notice more variety in tactics.
What I am trying to say is I like the changes. And based on the rosters around the league, I can see others like it too.

I think the key is really being able to adapt your tactics to the situation, if you're able to do that you should be able to win a fair few games.
I think that the recent flux of super strong keepers that some clubs have adds strength to some of the anti mass attacks tactics, It´s good to see some variation though and managers mixing it up
A lot has changed Brian. Nobody uses strategy anymore and this is a food review site. We occasionally post about youth soccer or personal injuries.
Surely its time also for a screenshot update of Phil's current vehicle. He gets a TON of miles out of his cars...
