![]() | There's a new Deputy in Town... Posted by |
Many of you know Phil as your Prediction League Commish, which he does an outstanding job of running. Thank you Phil!
Others may know Phil for his snarky match comments each week.
Well, Phil has a new self-identified title:
OLMEC DEBUGGING DEPUTY
I've been working with Phil on a regular basis on some interesting questions he has asked around various forms in the league. Phil always comes up with a way to challenge my brain and try to keep it in good shape as I hit my old age years. I could do puzzles but instead I just try to answer curious questions from my friend Phil.
I can only imagine the next testing my good friend Phil will do for bug-proofing the website:
"Hey Al, what would happen if I poured Sprecher Root Beer on my keyboard and then entered my orders? Let's try it out"...
Please give Deputy Phil the respect he deserves...

Al is only telling half the story. I have spent countless hours examining endless scenarios, probing the back entrances, examining the seedy underbelly of the MSWL website. When I find a back door unlocked, I tell Al. We live in a world with walls and those walls have to be guarded. I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code and loyalty. We use those words as the backbone of life defending something. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to those who rise and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom I provide. I would rather you just say "thank you" and went back to your lineups.

You bet your sweet patooty I did.
(Point for Brian Beerman!)

"Hey Al, what would happen if I poured Sprecher Root Beer on my keyboard and then entered my orders? Let's try it out"
I'm assuming this comment was meant in jest. However, since nothing else has worked, might attempting this finally free Coach Mac and his team from the 3rd division?

Great call out. Phil is ready to try any scenario I believe I-Man to ensure his fellow managers have a quality product. Not just anyone can wear the cowboy hat!

I'd previously thought Deputy McIntosh was manager of Division 3 team Chesterfield. However, upon visiting their team page, the manager photo appears to be of a much younger man. Maybe they do it differently down in Division 3, but is Chesterfield really being managed by Phil McIntosh Jr? Perhaps even Phil McIntosh III?
