Some ideas for next season.

Coaching Points - Should the league and FA Cup give higher rewards than say the Bowl or Youth Cup? Some leagues i play in have this difference to encourage teams not to actively loose matches, the Bowl is for the losers of round one FA cup ties and here they are gaining the same amount of CPs as the Fa cup match winners?

Should app and sch youth players gain levels at the end of each season as a reward for loyalty and working hard, say an extra level to apps and 2 extra levels to schoolboys when progressing each year?

FA Cup should definately stay as luck of the draw for home and away ties, thats the way the cup is here and sometimes with home advantage the minnows overcome the mighty? Maybe introduce a home and away League Cup or make the Alan Parr cup the home and away trophey, so maybe the first round group matches are all neutral grounds and the top two progress and then from then on the tie is decided by a two leg home and away match, away goals counting double should the match be drawn?

Special Players -  I have seen some truly high level players brought into teams this way but i am unconvinced that it has not been to the detrement of some leagues, there are such players as Linkmen who add their skill levels to defence and forward in home matches only, there are wingers who reduce the effects of the off side trap if one such player is in the team, there are full backs who add their age to the sweeper level when calculating the shot stopping ability, lone striker plays at 1.5 times his level in home games only and can play as a lone striker but the defence levels must be higher than the midfield levels. Just a few to be going on with.
