Which manager will Olmec hate this season?
Readers Comments

Ellis had a rough season. Steve's luck can't last as Olmec has always hated Steve... :-)

Rough is polite. I pity Steve if Olmec gets him in his sights...

Olmec was very kind last season. It can't last.

I know at least one manager who will agree with me...

Haha, Funnily enough I was looking back at the results from last season to see if therre were actually teams that Olmec disliked or loved as I had a few suspicions on this. Alas Alan set up the new season quicker than I expected which is nice so my analysis which I intended for the whole season was only half complete. Also I was only looking at match stas and precicting which teams shoudl have one or drawn based on the their line ups and then comparing to what actually happended. I ignored to an extent freak injuries and dubious red cards which are two other Olmed related curses. What I can say though is that one of the highlighted statements did appear to be a complete fallacy. Olmec did not dislike Ellis at least in the first half of the season. Results suggest it actually wasin love with him! (or at least infatuated as the love status fell to Watford and Tranmere, followed by Bristol, Cardiff and Swansea - maybe it's a Welsh thing?). Over all actually there were few teams that Olmec disliked (Carlisle, Chesterfield, Crewe, Dagenham, Dorchester, Hereford, Leeds, Notts Forest, Plymouth, Preston,QPR and Weston. Of these teams Olmec only really singled out three for hatred, Crewe, Notts Forest and Weston. Sadly Olmec actually detests Crewe with a vengeance. So Bill can feel duly aggrieved. They had lost 11 points at the time my analysis was curtailed. The next worst was both Forest and Weston with 6 points lost each. The main beneficiaries were Watford (7 points) and Tranmere (6 points). Olmec is neutral in its views to Oldham, Port Vale and Sheffield.

PS: Which makes me feel very sorry for Steve if he felt Olmec was being nice to him last season, because it really wasn't! I hate to think what it was like in previous seasons!

We were promoted with s fairly weak side so that's being nice compared to other seasons. Of course a first round FA Cup draw against Ian is revenge.

Olmec hates Plymouth for reasons unknown. Plymouth shows nothing but love and adoration for our soccer god.

ahh early days but is Olmec smiling on you or kicking you in the teeth despite all your best efforts. Last season Olmec really disliked Crewe, but this season has to a degree let up on the punishment and foused its wrath so far primarily on Sheffield and Leicester. Olmec is also proving to be a fickle head as it no longer seems to favour last season's fancy Tranmere and is now treating them rather badly. Maybe it was something Alon said. Swansea and Dorchster seem out of favour aswell. The Olmec star still seems to shine for Watford, but less singularly as Olmec is also developing a big crush on Chesterfield, Leeds and Cardiff with a bit of smouldering desire bubbling under the surface for Northampton and hard man Dave at Southend!
So with this in mind what should we expect for this sessions cup matches. I will stick my neck out and suggest there will be shock defeats for both Brentford and PNE in the FA cup, whilst Olmec has a tough choice with two of its favorites drawn against each other in Watford and Cardiff. Watford has the home advantage, which may show where its favours lie.......and the Shield? the Olmec 'love' money is on Lincoln to take out Tranmere for once.

Last season, OLMEC was letting it be known that it missed me as the leader of the Motley Crewe!
