Looking at the player roster the QNL value says how any more games/times coached a player requires to raise them to the next skill level
but what does it mean if the value is 0?
(I have a couple of low skilled Apprentices brought in to make the n umbers for the Youth Cup, but there isn't a figure in their QNL stat only 0)

Hi Roy,
Its a "Qualified for Next Level" number (counts up essentially).
So if you signed a brand new SBY, his SL is 2, his QNL is 0.
After playing him once its SL 2, QNL 1.
After playing him again its SL 2, QNL 2.
After playing him again its SL 3, QNL 0. At this point he reached the 3 games played (or a combination of youth coached) to get to the next SL and his QNL is reset to 0.
Hope that helps. If there's a specific player you think should have a different number, just let me know the specifics and I will look.
