Weston Super Mare: Can Weston retain their title against the odds this year? More likely they will be struggling to stave off relegation! Defensively they may be sound but are tootless up front. Manager Hall has taken a big gamble on giving the aged Nii Mingle the Captain´s armband to boost the attack, but any injuries to him might derail them entirely. At least Brentford are not in this division. Bringing through an app keeper is going to make life hard too.
Odds 10:1
Notts Forest: The team look well balanced if not too exciting and Captain Dupont is set to spearhead the weakish attack. They do have a little cash to spare, most likley to bring in a reserve keeper as any bad injury to first choice Ostman will curently completely scupper them. However the T11 is set at 11.64 so that could indicate they are already flying under the radar.
Odds 5:1
Port Vale: Have a strong squad already with a T11 of 11.73 and plenty of cash still to burn. Possibly in need of a replacement keeper for their ageing keeper and acertainly a backup sweeper for Fokke in case he gets an injury. They look set for a great season.
Odds Evens
Tranmere: Have an awesome attack fronted by the classy Shulga that will send shivers down the spine of other Managers. The midfield is currently overly reliant on young Cornelious but does Manager Atie care about this? Probably not and they have plenty of cash in the bank to strengthen. The T11 is decetively low at 11.09 but don´t let that fool you as Tranmere are big title contenders under the wily Alon.
Odds 10:11
Watford: Have a nice looking attack and a well balanced squad to an extent. The T11 stands at 11.64 with some cash to spare. Difficulty for them is going to be bringing through both an app keeper and sweeper at the same time. That is going to hurt if they don´t get a good youth cup run.
Odds 2:1
Preston North End: They have a sweet looking squad and plenty of cash to burn to boost that T11 of 11.18. Expect some big buys from them in future auctions although questions might have to be asked as to how they still have this much cash. did they bribe the taxman?
Odds 2:1
Swansea: Sadly the Swans are not in great shape with a T11 of 10.82. The keeper/sweeper combo are the wort in the division. Otherwise the squad is not too bad but not inspiring. There is some cash to strengthen but not enough. Not sure how they survived last season but by an excellent bit of manement by Roy. This season though they are being relegated
Odds 100:1
Plymouth: First of the newly promoted contenders. They have a good squad. T11 is 11.55 and defensively very sound. It might take young keeper Vukovic a while to find his feet, but that defence will protect him and his confidence should grow game by game. If they can add another Fw to the ranks and they do have just enough cash for a good one, then they will be there or thereabouts.
Odds 7:4
Cardiff: Luckily for Cardiff they do have some punchy players in this small squad. On the downside they have no cash to further strengthen it. Not yet anyway. Will a T11 of 11.09 be enough? Questionable and they really need a backup Sweeper. Avoiding injuries for them will be key as the reserve team is stretched.
Odds 12:1
Bristol: Newly promoted Bristol and last years AP cup winners will be relishing this campaign. The T11 is 11.82 with cash there to bring another star player in. If they have a weaakness it is in the keeper position. Flores is ageing and no longer a decent prospect so do they try and buy a big replacement and then cash in on the app coming along. Bringing through an app is always going to hamper a title challenge, so it might not be a bad plan. It will be interesting to see what they do in the next few auctions.
Odds 4:7

I'm abstaining as there's no such team as Notts Forest.

Lovely report and lovely wind up for Man U fans as relegation looks likely next season in the premier league ??

Yes can´t see them recovering from that Europe Cup game loss. Paying shed loads of wages for players nobody else would want in their team. It´s hilarious

Awesome work here Vick, thank you!
As soon as I saw "Notts Forest" I KNEW there would be a reply from Mr. Turner. ?
I said that once and Steve was having none of it. ?
It is like when my wife calls a Tchaikovsky piece written by "Tchaik". My oboe son is not having any of that either!
Also, yes Ian tries to bribe me.
