Any partial levels left at the end of the apprentice season are lost (eg level 9+2 matches becomes level 9)
I'd like to propose a rule change that gives a 25% chance per QNL that the apprentice gains that extra level. Thus, an apprentice who ends the season on QNL 1, 2, 3 has a 25%, 50%, 75% chance that they will have gained enough experience to go up one SL.

I don't see a need for this change. I am sympathetic to Andy's plight during season eight, but it is likely not all professional athletes reach their full potential; it's just part of the game.

I'm with Brian as well. I like the system as it is. The system is built to allow *just a little* bit of cushion for a manager to get full potential out of a Youth Player, but not enough so that a player cannot reach full potential without playing nearly every possible game he can. It's a dedication to Youth Development that has to be made, often at the sacrifice of league position.

The intention of this was to add to the decisions that a manager has to make, esecially in the final session, where currently you just play as many youth players as are needed to get a level rise and then play all of your best players, since there's no need to worry about fitness loss.
This would simply mean that a coach might want to play an apprentice in additional matches in hopes of getting a level rise. But how many matches? One? Two? Decisions, decisions...
