 | New Daily Historical Stats (Need stat suggestions) Posted by |
Hi guys,
I'm adding a daily stat to the site called "Historical Stats". This, in theory, should rotate daily, and will be based on all the stats we've been tracking since season 1 (note it WILL include season 5 data). An example of the data available can be seen here with Kieran Hayes. Now, obviously, it goes without question that no one is suggesting this example to highlight a trade that Medicus Nex made with, at the time, newcomer Brian Beerman. At that time, Dr. Death was happy to provide BHA Mr. Hayes (along with his 30 DP and three-game suspension). Again though, we all know how busy Dr. Death gets and it was, of course, an unintentional oversight that he simply forgot to mention to Mr. Beerman...some "may have noted this in the deal below":

Good for Brighton & Hove Albion Brian overpays slightly, but I think it's worth it. Hayes immediately becomes a first team player for B&H. Great for Southend United And here I was wondering how Dave was going to find playing time for 8 forwards. Cash should guarantee a top-notch off-season auction buy. Great for Southend United Just realized Dave unloaded 30 DP on this trade...I believe we need to add "Dave the Shark" to the nickname list... Great for Southend United Didn't see the DP factor here... Dave fleeces the cocmpetition! Good for Southend United So, is this guy out for 3 games or 3 sessions?
But I digress...no one is here to relive the past. 
If you have thoughts on "historical player stats" you'd like to see, please add-on to this thread. Don't worry, I'm already looking into the one where we expose C-Ball's Vincent Brett for his match in season 2 where he had 3 PKs and scored on none of them. Don't worry we will get that covered.

What about historical stats like Most Career Goals, or Best Career GK Save %?
Perhaps a running winning percentage stat, much like the one on the front page that continually shows Alon, but this one would be best win percentage versus C-Ball.
Player - most injuries (+ Fit lost)
Player - most DP (+ matches suspended)
Player - most teams played for? (anyone 3+ yet?)
Player - most goals scored career (as Rob notes)
Player - best career scoring percentage (goals/chances with min. chance conditional, like 10)
Player - worst career scoring percentage (goals/chances w/ min. chance conditional of 10)
Player - most appearances career
Player - most PK goals scored (w/ percentage noted)
Player - worst PK shooter career (PK goals/PK chances, more chances tie break, w/ min. chance of 5?)
Sweeper - best career stop percentage (w/ min. chances faced of 15 or 20?)
Sweeper - worst career stop % (w/ min. chances faced of 15 or 20?)
Goalie - Best Career Save % (w/ nod to Rob, min. shots faced of 20)
Goalie - Worst career save % (min. shots faced of 20)
Goalie - Best career PK save % (min PKs faced of 5? 10?)
Goalie - Worst career PK save % (min PKs faced of 5? 10?)
Goalie - Most goals allowed (or worst Goals Against Average: goals/appearances, min 10 apps)
Goalie - Best Goals Against Average (goals/appearances, min 10 appearances)
Manager/Team - best record against one team (randomly chosen team, "The Nemesis List", with nod to Brian for the idea, if we wanted to expand beyond C-Ball bashing for one day a week or so)
Manager/Team - Most overtime/PK shootout wins
Manager/Team - Most overtime/PK shootout losses
Manager/Team - All-Raid Team (most times they "squished a Bee", i.e. injured a BRE player, or random team most injuries caused to so managers can clearly see whom they need to retaliate against in future matches)
Manager/Team - most league wins, history (or best league %)
Manager/Team - most FA Cup wins, history (or best overall %)
Manager/Team - most FA Shield wins, history (or best overall %)
Manager/Team - most AP Cup wins, history (or best overall %, group matches included)
Manager/Team - most Youth Cup wins, history (or best overall %)
Team - Most / Least PKs for/against (+ conversion %) - this is a category I would wager money on that PLY would be at the top of the list in the "against" category.
Manager - Most auction players purchased
Manager - Most $$ spent at auction
Manager - Average $$ spent per player at auction
Manager - Most / Fewest trades
